We are officially in the 2nd trimester!! It is hard to believe we have made it this far and are 1/3 of the way done. All the pregnancy literature that I have read says that the 2nd trimester is usually the most comfortable and enjoyable time for expectant mothers. One of the big reasons for this is all the early symptoms of pregnancy usually subside around this time. It appears that pregnancy agrees with me. We, and I say we because Brian I am sure would have suffered as well, did not really have any of the negative side effects that you hear so much about; I was nauseous a few times - literally only 3-4 in the past 10-12 weeks - it is almost like it was just meant to be! It is hard to put into words the excitement and anticipation that Brian and I are feeling. We are very blessed to be expecting little BP in just 6 months.
So off we go for the next 12-13 weeks to see how we survive the 2nd stage. The 1st trimester went relatively smoothly and we pray that every thing continues the same way.
