Disney Dream Day 3

Today we are heading to the Disney Island! We ate breakfast, did our morning routine with Cooper and then headed out for some beach fun! Piper did stay behind in baby daycare, we thought baby + lots of sun + sand was not a very good idea. The kids loved the beach. The older kids played and swam in the water. Cooper really enjoyed plying in the sand. Brandon build a sandcastle Disney Cruise ship and it didn't take long for him to have a group of random kids coming over to see what he was working on. Lunch was served on the island and after a few hours of playing in the water we went to find something to eat. We headed into the bathrooms to wash all the sand off and clean up a little. On the way out Cooper was wrapped up in his towel and tripped on the sidewalk and did a face plant on the concrete. The poor guy, he cut his mouth and had a nice bump on his head. A few people came over to make sure he was ok, he was good but not in the best mood afterwards. We had lunch and ice cream the. Headed back to the ship. Back on board Cooper took a nap and the big kids went up to swim on the ship. Cole, Anabelle, Brandon and myself even went on the water slide that wrapped around the top of the ship. After Cooper was rested he joined for a little while until it was off to supper to see Ronald and Isabella. The kids couldn't wait to see what tricks they had for them tonight.

Disney Dream Day 2

Today we woke up and we were still sailing to the Bahama's. We tried to spend as much time on the veranda as we could, after leaving a blizzard in ND and type of sun shine was welcomed. The kids had a great first night and really embraced everything with the trip. Breakfast was served on the 11th deck of the ship, our stateroom was level 8, and the view was beautiful. We were able to witness the ship backing into the docking area for our first stop. Cole of coarse had to compare how much better our ship did compared to the one the ended up docking next to us. Today's plan was to venture off the boat for a dolphin encounter excursion. After a "debriefing" aboard the ship we were able to debark and start our adventure. We took a short bus ride to Atlantis and there changed into our wetsuits, well everyone but Brian, he said on shore and took care of Piper. The kids had a blast, they were able to pet the dolphin multiple times, feed him fish and watch his tricks. It was so much fun seeing their faces light up with peer joy during the day (reminded us why we took the trip to begin with). After being in the water with the dolphins we grabbed a quick lunch at a kiosk that served hotdogs and chips, then went to the gift shop for souvenirs and to purchase photos. We made our way back to the ship to have a little down time before "Pirate" night! The kids had fun, even though we didn't do most of the things that the other did. We missed the pirate show by a few minutes and then ended up back in our state room. We did convince them to go back to the top deck for the final show that involved fireworks. Afterwards they had a D.J and a dance party but the kids were so wore out they didn't even complain when we just went back to our room. I also should add they really liked seeing what animal our towels would be made into each night.

Disney Dream Day 1

Today is sailing day - woohoo! Everyone is excited. We had to wait outside the hotel for a little longer than expected (mom had the arrival time of the van wrong) but it was warm and sunny all was good. Cole did make a comment after about 5 minutes outside of "Ugg, it is hot out here!" Sorry buddy you will have to get use to it :) After about a 45 minute van ride we arrived at the ship terminal. We, in my opinion, arrived at the perfect time. There were no real lines we had to stand in and the kids were able to meet Mickey Mouse right away! What a way to start the day. Once we walked onto the ship it was amazing! The ship was so elegant and beautiful, it is hard to describe. The first thing we did was fumble our way through the ship and found some lunch. After that the kids changed into their swim suits and we went looking for somewhere they could get wet and have some fun. We found the cast away party and Annabelle was brave enough to get on stage. Cole and Ellie found a little pool to wade in for a while and before we knew it we were sailing! The first night we really didn't know what to expect and the kids were a little disappointed to go back to the room and get dressed for supper, which was the only meal that was really scheduled on the trip. Turns out they LOVED our server (more on them later) and dinner turned out to be ok. After dinner the older 3 went to "Kids Club" which was a place on the ship that had multiple rooms focused completely around the kids. They had a Star Wars room, Toy Story room, eating room, gaming room, interactive floor games, and much more that I never got to see. All the kids had a wrist band and when we came to pick them up the workers could tell us exactly where everyone was - it was amazing. While they did that Cooper did his afternoon/evening treatment and everyone was happy. I am proud to say Cooper did not miss one treatment while on vacation! Now bring on day 2!
