Leaning so much

Our little Annabelle is growing so fast! The past week has been a busy week for her. She can now crawl! I really thought she was going to skip that stage all together but the little peanut figured it out. She can also now get from a laying down position to a sitting posting to a standing position. She is EVERYWHERE...she is getting into the cupboards, walking all around the living room holding on the to chairs and crawling every where else to get to where she wants to be, usually that is chasing the pets. Most mornings if she is awake before we go and get her out of her crib she is standing looking at the door waiting for us to come in. When she sees you then she starts hoping up and down. She is so precious. She is also enjoying walking around with one of her toys. It still make Brian and I nervous when she is doing it but she is getting pretty good at pushing it slow enough that her little legs can keep up, now all she has to do is learn how to steer it so she isn't running into the walls all the time.

Brian and I are busy packing. We have 30 days until the big moving day. We still do not have a definite plan on where we are going but we tend to land on our feet. Little by little the house is clearing out. It is sad but exciting at the same time. It will be nice though when we know where we are going to call home.

Sold

This is Charlie's new favorite spot to sit.

Brian and I signed a purchase agreement Friday afternoon to sell our house! The scary thing about the deal is we haven't found a new place to live yet. I am not a big fan of not knowing where we are going to live but we have faith that things will work out the way they are suppose to. We do have a few houses that we are going to look at next week. We will officially be out of our house on July 1st.

Annabelle is becoming pretty brave when it come to walking. She will use only one hand on the furniture and she also love to throw things off the table, bend down and pick them up then stand back up and continue on her way until she throws something else off. All of her bravery is leading to more falls and bumps but that is just a part of growing up.

Eating

Man does time fly! Annabelle will be 10 months old next week - we can hardly believe it! She loves to walk. She can walk around furniture and the coffee table with out any help and loves to hold your hands and walk around the house. I don't think it will be long before she takes off on her own. She is also eating more table food and is learning to do it all on her own. She uses her fingers like any little tot would but she understands the concept of her spoon. Normally her spoon is in one hand and she is shoveling food in her mouth with her fingers from the other hand. Once in awhile she will stop, put the spoon in the bowl and then sticks the spoon in her mouth - so she has the idea. She usually ends up with food in her hair, up her nose and all over the floor. Charlie has quickly learned that when she eats he needs to be close by.

She has also figured out what phones are for; whether she has her play phones or our real cell phones she will put them up by her head...so cute!

I will have to try and post more pictures of our little peanut. She is looking more and more like a little girl every day. We can't imagine what life was like before she came along.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and future mothers! Mother's day at the Paulson house was relaxing, which was exciting. We have been so busy the past few weeks it was nice to stay home for a day and relax.

Annabelle continues to learn new things all the time. She can pull herself up by herself...scary! She is also very persistent on trying to walk. She usually does a good job hanging on to some one's fingers or a table/chair but there are times that she forgets and she has taken a few good falls. The one last weekend almost gave her a black eye. She still has no interest in crawling and in fact when she is on her hands and knees she just pushes her feet down and tries to stand. When she finally gets her balance and takes off walking Brian and I are going to have to be on our toes; she is going to be every where!

Brian and I have had a lot going on as well. We bought a car last weekend; with the price of gas going up we decided to get rid of the Durango and try to save some money. We also have another offer on our house do this week we are trying to find a house that we like, fits what we want and is our price range. We looked at 2 today and no luck. We are looking at 2 more on Wed and maybe one on Thursday. Who knows maybe we will just sell our house and move in with one of our parents :)
